How fast will my order ship?
Orders of stock items in our warehouse received by 2pm CST generally ship same day from our location in Blaine, MN.
For items not in our warehouse, lead times from factory stock vary depending on the manufacturer’s point of origin. Kim Controls will always work to get your order to you in the fastest, most cost effective manner possible. This may include a direct shipment from the manufacturer.
Kim Controls utilizes our choice of carrier for the shipping method for all orders that qualify for free shipping.
All shipping charges for items that don’t qualify for free shipping are prepaid and added to the invoice, or they can be charged to your Company’s account number (the use of customer shipping accounts for charges are only accepted for shipment via UPS, FedEx or DHL). For certain heavy orders, we use LTL (less-than-trailer-load) carriers. LTL freight charges for additional services, such as lift gate or limited access deliveries, where applicable, are added to your invoice.
Kim Controls has daily pick up service with UPS. You can choose your options from Ground, 2nd Day Air, 2nd Day Air A.M., Next Day Air, Next Day Air Saver, Next Day Air Early A.M. and 3 Day Select within the USA. International options are dependent upon your actual shipping address. Not all options are available for every receiving address.
Fedex shipments may incur a $5.00 pickup fee and are delayed by a day.
DHL collect shipments are available for international orders only.
Additional Shipping Methods Available:
You may order using the “Pick Up At Kim Controls” option if you are local. We will contact you once the order is ready to be picked up.
Shipping Guarantee: Kim Controls is not responsible for carrier delays in shipments due to weather, mechanical failures, or any other issues out of our control.
COD: Kim Controls will not ship COD. We do offer pre-payment for orders by credit card and Paypal. If you cannot pay via these methods, please contact sales at 888-296-1295 for ACH and wire transfer options.
Changes to delivery address: Any requests for changes to delivery addresses after shipment will incur carrier re-direct and administrative fees.
Since we ship via our carriers FOB origination within the United States, the risk of loss transfers to you when we deliver the goods to the carrier. Insurance is available at your expense to insure against loss or unusual damage. Insurance is not currently available via online ordering and will require you to contact sales at 888-296-1295 or email@example.com. A sales agent can calculate the cost of insurance at the time you place your order; charges will be added to your invoice.
Tracking numbers are available soon after we process your order from our warehouse in Blaine, MN. Tracking numbers for drop-shipments from manufacturers will be provided to you as soon as we receive them. Orders cannot be tracked until the carrier has initially scanned the shipment at their hub facility (generally after 6pm on the shipment date).
To track your order, log into your account at www.kimcontrols.com and click on the tracking number provided for your order. You can also track shipments via carrier websites (UPS or FedEx).
